Startup Pitch competition announced for Brazil expo

This June, SiGMA Americas in collaboration with BiS, will host a 3 day expo and conference in Sao Paulo, Brazil. As part of an ongoing commitment to support enterprising young businesses, a Startup Pitch competition has been confirmed to take place during the event.

The event is designed to connect budding startups and entrepreneurs with some of the leading industry experts and investors out there and to kickstart good ideas into fruition. The Pitch is a friendly-competitive event showcasing new talent and giving space to inspiring projects.

Six startups, shortlisted by a team of experienced judges, will compete during the expo for a lucrative prize including investment opportunities, mentorship, a free 2x2m booth at the next event of their choice, 5 passes, a magazine interview, consultancy, and visibility across social media. The live event includes a timed pitch and presentation and an interactive Q&A session. 

All startups will receive a 1x1m booth on the expo floor – showcasing their logo and company description. Startups will also benefit from 4 standard passes and 1 premium pass.

SiGMA Americas, 2023 is taking place from the 14th to 18th of June, at the Transamerica Expo Centre in Sao Paulo – a landmark building known for providing an innovative experience to exhibitors and an excellent geographical location.

Do you have what it takes to win? 

Here’s what you need to know in order to participate:

• Startup year should be between 2019 and 2023 (for new companies).
• The business should not have received funds exceeding 500,000 Euro investment. 
• They should be related to one of SiGMA Group’s verticals: AIBC, AGS, or SiGMA.
• Startups will need to cover their own travel costs.
