Digitain secures gambling licence in the UK

The United Kingdom’s Gambling Commission has granted Digitain, a sportsbook software and iGaming platform provider, the necessary licences to operate in the country. This marks another step towards expansion of the company’s presence across Europe, further solidifying its position in the iGaming industry.

Europe expansion

Digitain currently offers products and services in other parts of Europe, where it holds gambling licences. It has obtained licences from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), Romania’s Oficiul Naţional pentru Jocuri de Noroc, and Greece’s Hellenic Gaming Commission.

To obtain the licence in the UK, stringent regulatory standards have to be met that showcase the company’s dedication to responsible gaming and compliance. This opens up the opportunity to introduce Digitain’s products and solutions in one of the most competitive iGaming markets.

The trading names have been listed under Digitain’s licence by the Gambling Commission, namely Digitain, Galaxsys, and Imagine Live.

The newly granted licence will allow the brand to offer game titles including Cash Show, Blackjack, Crash, Penalty, Rocketon, Golden RA, Crasher, and Plinkoman.

In another move towards the expansion of Digitain’s offerings, Galaxsys has obtained a licence from the Swedish Gaming Authority, Spelinspektionen. It has also made its game available in Peru by obtaining necessary certification.

In June, SoftGamings, a casino software solutions provider, announced a significant expansion of its content distribution agreement with Digitain. The expansion saw Digitain’s Virtual Sports portfolio being integrated into SoftGaming’s API platform. Accordingly, the iGaming platform provider’s games were accessible to SoftGaming’s online casino clients globally.
