Golden Whale, a data-driven solutions provider in the iGaming sector, has appointed Thomas Aigner (pictured above) as senior vice president (SVP) of business development. The move aims to aid the company’s business development efforts.
Aigner has previously worked as head of sales at BetGamesTV and regional director for Emerging Markets at Playtech. He has gained experience across multiple regions in those roles, including Europe, Africa, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Latin America (LATAM). He brings professional expertise in gaming, eCommerce and artificial intelligence. His forte is developing and executing business strategies, strengthening and expanding the company’s market presence, among others.
In his new role, Aigner will primarily be involved with business development strategies that will help strengthen Golden Whale’s market position in the iGaming sector.
In May, the data science company specialising in AI and machine learning solutions for the iGaming sector, had partnered with advisory firm SCCG Management to enhance its visibility and promote products and services across the United States and beyond.
The partnership was one of the latest moves towards the company’s initiative to enhance its AI-driven products and services, and expand its market presence.
Eberhard Dürrschmid, Golden Whale’s CEO, said, “Aigner’s vast industry know-how in the fields of both ML/AI and iGaming made him the ideal candidate for the position and we are really looking forward to seeing all the new opportunities that his passionate approach to growth management will bring for the business in the weeks to come.”
