Playson expands into Peru with B2B supplier licence

Playson has successfully secured a B2B supplier licence in Peru, marking a significant milestone in its expansion strategy. This move aligns with the company’s commitment to comply with the requirements established by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR), following the country’s recent regulatory changes.

In February, new laws were enacted in Peru, making it the fourth Latin American market to regulate online casinos. This development has opened up new opportunities for Playson to make a substantial impact in the region and provide operators with enhanced digital casino experiences through its diverse portfolio of games.

The process of securing the licence was a collaborative effort involving Playson’s General Counsel Felicia Andronic, (pictured above), Head of Compliance Martyna Scieszka, and CCO Tamas Kusztos. Their collective efforts ensured that Playson’s operations aligned with the stringent regulations set forth by the Peruvian authorities.

As a licensed provider, Playson is poised to make a significant impact in Peru. The company plans to offer more opportunities for operators to enhance their digital casinos with its diverse portfolio of games. However, before their content goes live, the team will work diligently to obtain relevant game certifications and undergo technical audits, demonstrating their commitment to progress in this burgeoning market.

Playson’s CCO, Tamas Kusztos, commented on this development, stating, “Securing a licence in Peru is an important strategic move as we look to deliver more engaging experiences to players in new markets. The market stands out as one of the most promising in the Latin American region, and we look forward to establishing a prominent position in the country.” This statement underscores Playson’s ambition to expand its footprint in Latin America and its commitment to providing engaging gaming experiences to players in the region.
