Playtech enters the US market with Ohio launch

Online gaming software company Playtech has announced that it is entering the US betting market with the launch of an Ohio partnership with Gold Rush. Playtech will supply its retail kiosk terminals and management systems to 40 gaming and amusement locations in Ohio.

The partnership is strategically important for Playtech in its expansion of its betting network in the US.

Jonathan Doubilet, Managing Director of Playtech USA said that the partnership with Gold Rusk “will bring our extensive experience in retail sports betting to the US market for the first time.”  He added that the company is confident that Ohio is the right place for Playtech to start explaining that the deal will leverage “our expertise and strong track record to deliver self-service betting kiosks across the state. We’re excited for this type of gaming to expand and look forward to introducing further products across the growing US market.”

Gold Rush and Playtech will expand the new partnership to other Midwest locations in the USA via Gold Rush subsidiaries that service the video gaming market in Ohio and Illinois.
