Piimauna and Ryan take on new leadership roles at Seminole Hard Rock

Seminole Hard Rock Support Services has promoted two senior executives, Meaghan Ryan (pictured far left) and Stephanie Piimauna (pictured in centre), to significant new roles. Piimauna steps into the position of Senior Vice President of People and Inclusion, while Ryan has been promoted to Head of Human Resources.

Piimauna, previously the Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer, will now oversee both People and Inclusion and Human Resources. Reporting to Tracy Bradford, President of Seminole Hard Rock Support Services, Piimauna will continue her role in Tribal Career Development and Global Social Responsibility, reporting to Jim Allen, Chairman of Hard Rock International and CEO of Seminole Gaming.

Since joining Hard Rock in 2021, Piimauna has been a driving force behind the company’s diversity and inclusion strategy. She successfully established 11 team member resource groups. She led the company to accolades such as Forbes’ Best Employers for Diversity and Women. Her career journey spans over 20 years, including roles at Gilead Sciences, MGM Resorts International, and Four Seasons Resorts Maui. Piimauna holds a degree in business and numerous certifications from prestigious institutions.

Piimauna shared her excitement about the promotion: “I am deeply honoured to step into this new role and contribute in an even bigger way to our team’s growth and success. Furthermore, I’m thrilled to have Meaghan leading HR for the organisation and am looking forward to our continued partnership in this pivotal area.”

“Stephanie has done an incredible job of developing and leading our DE&I efforts and we are excited for her to expand her impact across the organisation in meaningful ways in this new role,” said Bradford. “We’re thrilled to see her expand her role. With Meaghan leading our Human Resources, we’re confident in our strengthened approach to innovation.”

Ryan, who has been with Seminole Hard Rock for a decade, will now lead the Human Resources department, reporting directly to Piimauna. Ryan’s journey at Seminole Hard Rock began with overseeing talent acquisition and has grown to Global Talent and Team Member Relations. Her extensive experience includes leadership roles at Caesars Entertainment and Westgate Resorts. Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in human resources from Florida State University and has been a key player in initiatives such as the Women of Seminole Gaming mentorship programme.

Both Piimauna and Ryan bring extensive experience in the sector, promising continued growth and success at Seminole Hard Rock Support Services.
