С чего начался ваш путь в сфере партнёрских программ? И всегда ли вы были сосредоточены на секторе онлайн гемблинга?
Я долго был профессиональным игроком в покер и совладельцем одной из самых первых покерных команд в СНГ. Я всегда занимался финансами и учётом, а так как каждый покерист использует платёжки по несколько раз в день, тема кошельков была мне особенно близка.
На очередном этапе Европейского Покерного Тура я познакомился с менеджером Skrill, который предложил мне стать их представителем. Я был уверен, что в покерном коммьюнити знал практически всех, и идея показалась мне очень привлекательной. Я согласился и уже через 5 дней привлёк первые 100 пользователей. Так закончилась моя покерная карьера и начался мой путь аффилейта платёжных систем.
Это было 10 лет назад. С тех пор многое изменилось: сейчас у нас огромная команда, сотни партнёров и сотни тысяч клиентов из всех гемблинг-отраслей – не только покера, но и ставок на спорт, казино, форекс.

Рынок СНГ и Европы долго являлся нашим основным, но за последние годы рынки Азии и Южной Америки получили мощное развитие, переместив наш фокус на себя. Безусловно, они обладают колоссальным потенциалом, и мы видим и реализуем множество стратегий по освоению этих рынков.
Что делает ваш сайт/ресурс лидогенерации особенным? Есть ли что-то, что вы можете предложить чего другие не могут?

Я никогда не привлекал инвестиции, всё делаю на свои. Наоборот, постоянно сам вкладываюсь в новые проекты и тестирую что-то новое.
И как каждый бизнесмен, всегда готов продать свой бизнес в любой момент – вопрос цены.
Какими качествами и навыками должен обладать аффилиат для продуктивной работы?
Конечно, базой контактов.
А еще каждый успешный аффилейт должен быть классным сейлзом. Если ты веришь в свой продукт и можешь ‘продать’ идею своего продукта своим друзьям, коллегам и партнёрам, то всё получится. И тогда совсем не важна крутость движка на сайте или дизайна логотипа – это второстепенно.
Какое место современные технологии занимают в вашей повседневной жизни?
Сири отключена, Алиса веселит детей.
Есть ли что-то особенное, что бы вы хотели знать в начале вашего пути как аффилиата?
Когда я начинал, у меня не было ни сайта, ни дизайнера, ни крутой команды, ни службы поддержки, ни отлаженных бизнес-процессов. 10 лет назад я был один и всю деятельность вел с личного скайпа.
Если бы я тогда задумался о построении команды и делегировании некоторых процессов, я бы раньше пришёл к формуле устойчивого и гибкого бизнеса.
Какие преимущества от посещения крупных мероприятий в индустрии вы можете назвать? Что на ваш взгляд можно было бы сделать лучше?
Я лично посещаю практически все крупные мероприятия для аффилейтов, многие из них мы посещаем командой. Я считаю это необходимой частью нашей деятельности, так как мы работаем в сфере партнёрских программ, сами ищем партнеров и хотим ими стать, а это лучше всего происходит при живом общении.
Вы когда-нибудь посещали SiGMA саммит? Хотели бы рассмотреть вариант посещения SiGMA саммита в Маниле либо на Мальте?
Мы участвуем в SiGMA постоянно, наша команда любит приезжать на этот саммит. Что еще можно пожелать? Разве только чтобы SiGMA проводилась чаще.

Я люблю путешествовать. Из самых впечатляющих – Исландия в прошлом году.

Роберт Кийосаки ‘Богатый папа, бедный папа’: в 16 лет она изменила моё мировоззрение и сформировала во мне дух предпринимательства.
Харрингтон – 3 тома по холдему, которые дали мне возможность быстро приобрести навыки и начать зарабатывать первые деньги покером.
В какую страну хотели бы переехать вместе с семьёй, если бы была возможность выбора?
У меня возможность выбора есть, но я живу в Москве и переезжать никуда не хочу.

Dmitriy Yegorov, Owner at VipDeposits, gives an exclusive interview to SiGMA News as part of our latest series on affiliates
How did you first get into the affiliate space, and were you always focused on the iGaming sector?
For a long time I’ve been a professional poker player and co-owner of one of the very first poker teams in the CIS. I have always been involved in finance and accounting, and since every poker player uses payments several times a day, the theme of wallets was especially close to me.
At one of the stages of the European Poker Tour, I met with the manager of Skrill, who offered me the opportunity to become their representative. I was sure that in the poker community I knew almost everyone, and the idea seemed very attractive to me. I agreed and after 5 days I attracted the first 100 users. So my poker career ended and my path to becoming a payment systems affiliate began.
That was 10 years ago. Since then, much has changed: now we have a huge team, hundreds of partners and hundreds of thousands of customers from all gambling industries – not only poker, but also sports betting, casino and forex.
How is your affiliate business structured, and what aspect of business development are you currently focused on?
We have a unique product. VipDeposits – Skrill and the Neteller loyalty program. Without exception all the players in the world use payments, 90% of them use Skrill and Neteller.
By opening accounts with us, the user receives a lot of advantages: VIP statuses, reduced commissions, increased limits – in general, everything that players need.
Our relationships with partners are also unique: we provide the opportunity to earn extra money from commissions generated in Skrill and Neteller.
Dmitriy Yegorov.We complement any large affiliate in any gambling sphere: an affiliate that attracts players, for example, in a casino, earns from their activity. Moreover, if the affiliate cooperates with us, and the client opens an account using our loyalty program, the affiliate will additionally earn a commission for deposits generated through Skrill and Neteller. In fact, we offer affiliates of any sphere additional income, and for users – buns and an increased level of service. There is no such thing in the industry, and we are very proud of it.
Last year I am focused on the development of the team. A couple of years ago we were about 5, and now almost 40 people, because I believe that a strong team provides more satisfied customers and more income for the company and its partners.
Which markets do you focus on and do you see any potential in the emerging markets?
CIS and Europe have long been on our focus and our main markets, but in recent years, the markets of Asia and South America have gained powerful development, shifting our focus to them. Of course, they have tremendous potential, and we see and implement many strategies for developing at these markets.
What makes your traffic proposition / traffic sites unique? What can you offer that others don’t?

Are you contemplating bringing in investors to scale or grow your business? Have you ever contemplated selling the business?
I’ve never attracted investments, I do everything on my own. On the contrary, I constantly invest in new projects myself and test out new things.
And like every businessman, I’m always ready to sell my business at any time – it’s just a matter of price.
Which qualities and skills are essential in an affiliate team/business?
The base of contacts of course. And every successful affiliate must be cool and confident in sales. If you believe in your product and can “sell” the idea of your product to your friends, colleagues and partners, then everything will work out. And then the coolness of the engine on the site or logo design is not important at all – this is secondary.
How does technology play a part in your day-to-day?
“Siri” is OFF, “Alisa” amuses children.
What do you know now that you wish you knew when starting out?
When I started, I had no website, no designer, no cool team, no support service, no debugged business processes. 10 years ago I was alone and I conducted all my activities from personal Skype.
If I then thought about building a team and delegating certain processes, I would have earlier come to the formula of a sustainable and flexible business.
What are the benefits of attending large iGaming events, and what can they do better?
I personally attend almost all major events for affiliates, many of which we attend with my team. I consider this a necessary part of our activity, since we work in the field of affiliate programs, we ourselves are looking for partners and want to become them, and this is best done with live communication.
Have you ever been to SiGMA? Would you consider attending SiGMA Manila or SiGMA Malta at some point?
We participate at SiGMA all the time, our team likes to come to this summit. What more could you ask for? Unless SiGMA was carried out more often.

Favourite vacation?
I like to travel. One of the most impressive trips was to Iceland last year.
Favourite book ever read? Favourite book you look forward to read some day?
Robert Kiyosaki ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’: at the age of 16, this book changed my worldview and shaped the spirit of entrepreneurship in me.
Harrington – 3 books about hold’em which gave me the opportunity to quickly acquire skills and start earning my first money in poker.
Where would you relocate with family if you had to pick one city?
I have a choice, but I live in Moscow and do not want to move anywhere.

I just love wakesurfing.
