Innovative B2B provider, Triggy AB, hired Darran Miner as Vice President, North America. Miner, Triggy’s first U.S. hire, brings with him more than 20 years of sports marketing and betting experience. Most recently, Miner led marketing and sales efforts for the New York Racing Association, including overseeing promotion of ticketing and wagering verticals as well as sponsorships. Throughout Miner’s tenure at NYRA, the organization saw steady increases in sales revenue and broke several betting records. Most notably, the 2019 meet at Saratoga Race Course set a record for all-sources handle with more than $700 million wagered throughout the meet.

“We are excited to have Darran join the Triggy team as we launch our business in North America. We believe we have a fantastic product that will revolutionize the in-play betting market in the U.S. and believe Darran is the perfect person to build our team in the states,” said Bjorn Nilsson, Co-Founder of Triggy.

“The in-play betting market is well established in Europe and Asia and it’s starting to gain traction here in the U.S. I’m excited to join the Triggy team and bring our industry leading technology to bettors throughout North America,” stated Miner.
