Sophie Hodgson steps up from VP to COO at Blexr

Blexr, a lead generation company for iGaming, has announced the promotion of Sophie Hodgson to Chief Operating Officer (COO). Hodgson previously served as the company’s Vice President of People and Talent.

Since joining Blexr in November 2022, Hodgson has become a key player in promoting a positive and productive work environment for the company. Leading the ‘People and Talent’ team, Hodgson oversees four key areas: talent, operations, partnering, and experience. These areas work together to attract and retain top talent, streamline internal operations, and prioritise employee well-being and support.

Hodgson also brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having worked in startups and multinational corporations. She previously held leadership positions such as CEO and Founder of The Storm Collaborative and COO of BAE Systems Air.

In her new role, Hodgson will continue to assist the executive team with day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.

“I am incredibly excited to take on this new challenge and continue to build on the solid foundations we’ve established at Blex,” said Hodgson. “My goal is to create a positive, high-performing environment that attracts and retains top talent, fosters employee engagement, and promotes a culture of diversity and inclusion that aligns with Blexr’s overarching strategy.”

The Blexr team recently returned from the Brazilian iGaming Summit | BiS, organised by SiGMA Americas. The event provided a platform for Blexr to connect with key industry leaders and experience the vibrant iGaming scene in Brazil and Latin America firsthand.

Blexr actively participated in the summit and discussed the remarked growth in the LatAm region, gaining valuable insights that will shape the company’s future strategies within the expanding market.
