Bragg Gaming announces resignation of COO and President Lara Falzon

Established iGaming technology provider Bragg Gaming has disclosed the resignation of its Chief Operating Officer (COO) and President, Lara Falzon.

Effective from 31 December 2023, Falzon’s departure marks the end of her tenure with the company, where she has played a pivotal role since early 2021. Until her departure date, Falzon remains committed to overseeing the day-to-day operations of Bragg Gaming.

Bragg Gaming’s positioning in iGaming technology

Specializing in iGaming technology, Bragg Gaming serves as a crucial provider of content and technologies to both online and land-based casino operators. The company’s in-house brands, including Spin Games and Atomic Slot Lab, contribute to a diverse portfolio of games accessible to Bragg customers.

Other significant technologies offered by Bragg include Bragg PAM, a robust player account management platform. Bragg Gaming is recognized for its extensive collaborations and partnerships within the industry, boasting affiliations with major players like Entain and BetMGM.

Lara Falzon’s impact on Bragg’s expansion

Lara Falzon, with a wealth of 15 years of experience in management and C-Suite roles, arrived at Bragg Gaming, bringing valuable insights from her previous position as the Chief Financial Officer of Red Tiger Gaming. As she bids farewell, Falzon said that she is honoured to have been part of Bragg during a transformative period. She conveyed confidence in the company’s leadership and team, foreseeing continued success.

Impressive Q3 results

During Falzon’s tenure, Bragg Gaming witnessed significant growth, evident in the Q3 2023 results. The company reported a remarkable 71 percent increase in adjusted EBITDA compared to Q3 2022, coupled with an 8 percent year-on-year surge in revenue. This growth trajectory is a result of Falzon’s impactful contributions to Bragg Gaming’s strategic and financial success.

Falzon’s departure acknowledged by Bragg leadership

Bragg Chairman and CEO, Matevž Mazij, lauded Lara Falzon as an “invaluable member” of the team. He spoke of her dedication, leadership and hard work that have left a lasting imprint on the company. Falzon’s departure, while marking the end of an era, is met with optimism regarding the ongoing success of Bragg Gaming, buoyed by its solid foundation and other strong leadership team members.
