More casinos placed on Swiss blacklist

The Swiss regulatory bodies ESBK and Gespa have released a revised and larger blacklist of illegal online gambling operators

The revised Swiss blacklist of the Eidgenössische Spielbankenkommission (ESBK) has grown by 61 domains, while Gespa has added 18 sites. The affected operators will not be able to get their online casino domains licensed under Swiss law.

Among the newly blacklisted names are four websites using the 7reels brand, four using the Sol brand, two using the Starpricebet brand and two others using the Bahigo brand. Specifically, domain names such as Sportsbet.io, Betnow.eu and Tigergaming.com will no longer be available in the country.

The two main Swiss regulatory bodies, ESBK and Gespa, which was formerly known as Comlot, regularly update the blacklist since September 2019 when the first edition was published. Since then, more than 250 illegal domains have been detected and shut down.
