Hard Rock International have their eyes on London as they set to open a new casino after acquiring The Ritz Club casino licence

Hard Rock InternationalHard Rock International are set to open a new London casino after acquiring a premise licence from The Ritz Club in London, which had closed permanently in May 2020 due to COVID-19 measures. The move follows the casino operators goal to expand its presence across major cities around the world.

The company haven’t provided details on the specific location of the new casino, yet it did confirm that the new venture will be in the English capital.

The new London licence was affirmed after the operator striking a joint venture with an array of Star Group executives in big to growth its online gaming offering, restaurant and casino verticals.

The casino operator already has branches in London via its Hard Rock Hotel facility, on the corner of Park Lane in Marylebone and Oxford Street, and the Rock Café brand.

In other news, PM Boris Johnson announced on 4 January that England will enter its third and toughest lockdown since March 2020 in bid to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, forcing the land-based industry to close again.
