The racetracks will have to comply with the stablished strict health protocols developed by the Institute, such as no audience, frequent sanitary disinfection,  the use of masks and social distance, among many others. The meeting was attended by Carlos Bianco, the president of the Institute, Omar Galdurralde, representatives of the equestrian activity; the provincial senator Gervasio Bozzano; the vice-president of Lottery, María Laura García; the executive secretary of the organism, Juan Padín; and the provincial director of Hippodromes, Cristian Segal.

Its worth mentioning that one racetrack that had recently opened before the mentioned territories was the racetrack of Palermo, under the jurisdiction of Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, and the Head of Government, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, that authorised its opening last August 29 and resumed its activity without an audience.

After the last race  under normal conditions on March 17th at La Plata’s racetrack, in which the requirement of no audience was already imposed by the President Alberto Fernández before the social isolation was imposed, the countries racetracks were closed, suffering a period of heavy financial loses. The race tracks are expected to experience a slow comeback with this measure.
