Organizers now are due to be notified of any violation. In addition to this, it will be reported to Facebook, where the platform must remove the group in question in line with their guidelines.

This approach has already been implemented by the two parties, as they investigated and flagged 13 cases of illegal lotteries, for which Facebook have removed them from their network.

The KSA concluded that they are certain of this methods effectiveness in controlling gambling violations.
