LCB Awards 2022 shortlists announced, winners to be selected in November

The award-winning casino affiliate reveals shortlisted iGaming nominees in 8 categories in the build-up to LCB Awards ceremony in Malta.

Established casino affiliate and leading gambling portal, lcb.org has announced the shortlisted finalists in the run for LCB Awards 2022 to take place this coming November during Malta Week.

Officially announced in May of this year, LCB Awards was conceived by the LCB team as their signature event to recognize and celebrate exemplary service and achievements in the industry. Furthermore, the event aims to promote transparency and responsible gaming in the community, reaching across the globe to all active markets.

In partnership with SiGMA, the inaugural international iGaming event features awards in 8 categories total: 6 categories to address distinguished casino brands according to key attributes of service, and 2 categories representing best online slot game and live dealer software:

  • Best Online Casino
  • Helping Hand
  • Rising Star
  • Prime Perks
  • Live Dealer Games
  • Members Choice
  • Spin Me Round
  • Pit Boss

A total of 10 shortlisted candidates have been selected in each category, by means of voting within an exclusive contest with a $12,000 prize pool shared between 55 winners, with a $2000 first prize. Players were able to vote for one or more out of 20 nominated candidates in each category, all brands that had demonstrated high-quality service in one or more important features. A panel of judges will select the winners at the ceremony in Malta. “This is the first of what we hope to be an annual series of award events, and we consider this undertaking a natural continuation of over 15 years of presence in the industry,” said the CEO of LCB.

“We want to keep supporting both players and operators of integrity, to help create a safe environment where informed choices can be made, and this project is a means to that end.”

The Co-CEO of the affiliate network had this to say: “Our mission to give value to the player is perfectly reflected in the way the LCB Awards nominees and shortlisted finalists are selected. We gave LCB members and guests the opportunity to vote for one of 20 nominees in each category, so that the voice of consumers and players can be heard as well.” He explained further that the project has so far been a success and also a way to give back to the community.

“The feedback has been incredible and we had 3,111 members and 6,409 guests who had been actively voting throughout the 4-month period since the announcement of the awards up until the closing on August 31, with 68805 votes total – 52,036 member votes and 16,769 guest votes. Our colleagues and peers have been very supportive and we couldn’t be happier with the way the project is unfolding.”

Excited to have brought this long-awaited project to fruition, the team is looking forward to the gala night and award ceremony taking place on November 15 at Sky Club Malta, where they hope to gather and celebrate with friends and iGaming colleagues from around the world.
