Medium-energy spheres, which can be only acquired by trading up 3 low-energy spheres, can transform a whole payline with a Scatter into a randomly selected 5-of-a-kind combination of symbols.
The most valuable sphere is the one of high-energy, which can appear only if the player chooses to trade 2 mid-energy spheres. The high-energy sphere automatically initiates a randomly chosen number of free spins and adds two more expanding Wild symbols to the second and the third reel. Portal Master keeps awarding players with energy spheres during free spins as well, but those spheres automatically add more free spins to the total count.
