Stats Perform announces WTA partnership

Stats Perform, a well known data specialist analytic company based in Chicago, aims to aid the WTA with fast and accurate data

Such a deal will see Stats Perform become the official supplier of data to the WTA and aims to deliver multiple feeds to women’s Tennis matches.

This will increase the level of live insight which in turn will enhance and power a new reach of broadcast and betting experiences. Data will be collected, analysed and then processed by Stats Perform’s Opta analysts.

Such distribution of sport content aims to aid the WTA make data more accessible to its sportsbooks, therefore, providing pundits with fast, accurate and focused data to make use of.

This partnership further intends to increase WTA`s player profiles whilst at the same time improve the accessibility of data for media outlets and sponsors.

Carl Mergele, Stats Perform CEO outlined that the WTA is very ambitious and has set numerous goals directly related to the tournament and players and Stats Perform is extremely excited to be part of such a project with the aim to reach new levels of fan and bettor engagement.

The President of the WTA Micky Lawler (right) also expressed her excitement is in curious to find out what future opportunities will Micky Lawlerbring. She also stated that Stats Perform is renowned for creating modern, innovative and reliable content and products that has proven to drive entertainment levels which in turn increase revenue streams.

Lawler continued to add that “We’re looking forward to discovering new and unique story lines surrounding the WTA Tour and our players and tournaments available in new, exciting and comprehensive ways.”

The partnership agreement came about after Stats Perform committed to setting minimum standards when collecting and processing sporting data related to betting. This commitment was made to the international Betting Integrity Association’s (IBIA). New standards must ensure that data is offered in an accurate, transparent and reliable fashion which at the same time is sourced responsibly and minimizes risk.
