UKGC initiates suspension of licence to UK based operator PlayerFT

The UKGC has announced PlayerFT Limited’s operating licence suspension

ukgcThe UKGC has reviewed PlayerFT Limited’s licence following concerns surrounding activities that may have been carried out in breach of the conditions of PlayerFT Limited’s licence. The basis on which these licences will also be suspended is as a direct result of PlayerFT failing to integrate with the national multi-operator self-exclusion scheme, GAMSTOP.

The commission in a statement said: ‘We have made it clear to the operator that during the course of the suspension, we expect it to focus on treating consumers fairly and keeping them fully informed of any developments which impact them.

The suspension does not prevent the operator from allowing consumers to access their accounts and withdrawing funds.’

Even though the licence suspension came into effect on July 2nd, customers are still allowed to access their accounts and withdraw funds.

PlayerFT Limited is a private limited company incorporated on March 14, 2019. and the operator’s suspension will be taking effect immediately.
