Curacao’s GCB Portal open for account registration

Having been launched as an information portal eight weeks ago Curacao’s GCB Portal opened this week for account registration for all new applicants and sub-license holders.

The GCB Portal is a web-based regulatory hub from which all aspects of gaming licensing – whether initial registration and applications or ongoing license management – along with all communications between the operator and the GCB will occur.

From this point on all applicants can commence setting up their Account with the GCB – for the following five purposes

  • Account management
  • Sublicense registration
  • Gaming application
  • License Management
  • Ticketing System

Applications can be uploaded from a verified account from the 15th November.

A verified account is one that is

  • (1) registered in the name of a Curacao company along with
  • (2) a unique email address attached to that company  and
  • (3) a signed letter of authorisation sent to and approved by the GCB.

The Letter of Authorisation can be downloaded here.

The portal contains the complete set of forms necessary for a license application along with supplementary FAQs and guidance notes.

Forma available include:

  • Authorisation letter
  • Application form
  • Personal declaration
  • Business declaration

The guidance notes cover:

  • Portal Manual
  • Business Plan Requirements
  • Sample Organogram
  • FAQs
