Kateryna Biloruska steps down as co-owner of Parimatch

Kateryna Biloruska, formerly co-owner of Parimatch, has announced her departure from the gaming sector after more than ten years. Biloruska’s decision is the end of an era for a brand that has become synonymous with innovation and growth in online betting.

Biloruska, in a LinkedIn post, declared, “Ten plus years in iGaming taught me one thing: innovation never stops. It’s time to turn the page and embrace a new challenge.” During her tenure in the industry, she has held various leadership roles, including her position as a board member at Energame.

Biloruska expressed pride in her accomplishments, saying, “I am incredibly proud of the ability to launch and lead a Tier-1 brand in iGaming on an international scale. It was my ultimate career goal to drive the rapid growth of the company, especially in technology and digital transformation.”

As she departs, Biloruska expressed gratitude towards her colleagues, partners, and clients, acknowledging their integral role in the company’s success. “People have played a key role in our success. I’m incredibly grateful for our team’s achievements, and I’m deeply thankful to everyone who has been part of this journey,” she stated.

“I am going to recharge and reflect on what’s next,” Biloruska shared. “My passion is to drive positive change by identifying and supporting innovative projects and ideas. I aim to pursue new opportunities utilising my knowledge and experience with a focus on strategic investments.”

A new owner

Biloruska’s exit comes on the heels of important changes within Parimatch. She has sold her controlling shareholding to fellow co-owner Sergey Portnov, who previously served as the CEO of the company. Sources indicate that Portnov has acquired shares from other minority stakeholders, positioning himself as the new owner of Parimatch. Biloruska will relinquish all official roles within the company as she prepares to embark on new ventures outside the iGaming sphere. Portnov joined the company in 2011, he has held various key positions, including that of Marketing Director and Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

Biloruska explained that she is confident in Parimatch’s leadership and direction. “I am excited to see where the company goes next as it continues to shape the industry and navigate its ever-evolving landscape,” she noted. “I’m sure that with your continued dedication and hard work, the company will reach even greater heights.”
