Lioncasinos launches dedicated section for Megaways slots players

The dedicated section for slots players will offer useful tips and ideas

The Malta-based affiliate company Meow Corp Limited have just unveiled a dedicated Megaways slots section, offering useful information to players that are looking to experience this awesome mechanic, originally introduced to the world by Big Time Gaming. 

Their flagship site, Lioncasinos, currently focuses on the Canadian market, but is expected to be launched in other countries where Megaways slots are especially popular, including the UK, New Zealand, Sweden and Germany, in the near future.

Going specifically after Megaways, while not groundbreaking, was an unusual approach for Lionways. Paudie Mcdonnell, Head of Product at Meow Corp, explaining the rationale behind the move.

“I’m a big fan of the volatility in slots and the Megaways engine delivers this in what I believe to be the most spectacular way possible.

While thinking about how we could differentiate ourselves in the crowded market of iGaming affiliation the idea of just focusing on these games sprung up as an innovative and effective method. 

It’s definitely still early days for us, but we already have reviewed more than 40 of these games and have been coming up with ideas for useful features that can be implemented on the site to aid us in moving the needle. These have included comparing RTPs, maximum Megaways possible, whether the feature can be purchased or not. 

All of these are useful, but at the end of the day it still didn’t feel like we were doing enough to help players. I went to what many would consider to be an extreme, and played all Megaways slots reviewed for real money and recorded what the feature looks like for each of the games. You can see an example of that in the review of my current favourite game Piggy Riches Megaways. 

When focusing on these games it also feels extremely important to promote only the top tier brands that are well bankrolled and are able to payout. The awesome thing with Megaways is that you can theoretically have a spin worth as much as 50,000x. If that happens at some rogue brand licensed in the middle of nowhere it could be troublesome, at best, for the reputation of all involved.“
