NagaWorld Casino in Cambodia is back to business

NagaWorld Casino is the first integrated resort approved for reopening by the Cambodian Government

Under the global impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, Cambodia has been no exception in pressing the ‘pause button’ to all domestic casinos. As the epidemic is gradually easing, casinos in Cambodia have also begun a slow recovery this month.

NagaWorld Casino Holdings, headquartered in Phnom Penh, Kingdom of Cambodia, is the first integrated hotel with commercial casino that has been approved by the Cambodian government.

NagaWorld made the announcement today that The Royal Cambodian government will allow all casinos in the country to resume operations, and casino owners must sign an agreement or memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Health to implement the rules imposed by the authorities.

NagaWorldHoldings stated that it had already implemented the rules imposed by the local Ministry of Health as early as June 30, signed a memorandum of understanding, and issued an approval certificate on the 5th of this month, stating that the company has complied with the regulations imposed by the Ministry of Health.  The company and the Ministry of Health added the attachment to the memorandum of understanding signed with the authorities at the end of last month.

NagaWorld Holdings also pointed out that, in accordance to the letter issued by the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Cambodia, the Ministry of Health does not object to the company’s restart of all its casino operations in Phnom Penh, including mass market operations, VIP operations and slot machine operations.
