Caesars acquired William Hill UK for $3.7 billion at the beginning of the month

This deal is the first announced since Caesars acquired William Hill’s United Kingdom-based parent during the beginning of this month for $3.7 billion

Indianapolis Colts stadiumWilliam Hill US and Caesars Entertainment have agreed to a shared sponsorship deal with the National Football Leagues team Indianapolis Colts. Such a sponsorship deal consists of an online fan engagement game.

This deal is the first announced since Caesars acquired William Hill’s United Kingdom-based parent during the beginning of this month for $3.7 billion.

Caesars’ sportsbetting is managed by William Hill within states where the activity is legal agreed is the first joint venture between Caesars and William Hill. Pending regulatory approval, the Caesars Indiana mobile sportsbetting app, “Caesars SportsBook by William Hill,” will be molded into the Colts’ marketing and media strategy which would permit the offering of exclusive offers and promotions directly to fans.

Co-President of online gaming and ongoings Mr Chris Holdren outlined the company’s Indian presence by stating: “This expanded partnership with William Hill and our long relationship with the Indianapolis Colts deepens our strong ties within the community.” Holdren further added, “Combined, both will provide an exciting entertainment experience on gamedays and beyond.”

Directly through the Caesars Reward program, the casino company will spearhead a sponsor that offers a free-to-play “Pick 6 Predictor” game on a Mobile App dedicated to the Colts. The Pick 6 Predictor yields the questions, that allows fans to predict the outcome of before upcoming games. Picks predicted correctly are rewarded with weekly prizes, whilst all participants enter the chance to win a FREE trip to Las Vegas and stay at a Caesars Entertainment property.

Roger Van Der Snick, the Chief of Sales & Marketing for the Colts mentioned that this agreement with William Hill and Caesars will offer the team an additional means of interacting with its fan-base, Van Der Snick went on to state “In the digital age, and particularly this virtual world in which we find ourselves now, finding new ways to engage with our fans, partners and community is one of our top priorities,”

Furthermore, such a sponsorship means that Caesars and William Hill US becomes the Colts official sportsbetting partner. Ever since sportsbetting took off nationwide last May 2018 due to the Supreme court ruling, several partnerships have been concluded between franchises in sport and organizations within the casino and sportsbetting industry. William Hill specifically has been active within the state of Indianapolis sportsbetting market since 2019.
