Strength in synergy: SiGMA Foundation’s path to impactful giving through fundraising events

The SiGMA Foundation‘s community members are flourishing and showing true resilience. With every participant of our expeditions taking on the responsibility to fundraise as part of their journey up mountains and through mystical treks – our calendars are filled with a diverse array of engaging activities, events and services making the act of giving back easier than ever before.

Just this past week, we’ve celebrated 80s themed birthday bashes, participated in sunrise yoga sessions led by renowned yogi Svetlana Abela, and even had our cars washed, all in efforts to raise funds for the SiGMA Foundation’s ongoing endeavours.

Looking ahead, more exciting and inclusive events are on the horizon, including a sunset yoga session at the breathtaking Riviera Bay and a fun relay race and fitness training session scheduled for this week alone. Additionally, we’re gearing up for a boat party set for the summer month of July.

Meanwhile, our teams are preparing for their journeys this May along the Camino de Santiago in Spain and for a climb up Mount Toubkal in Morocco. Team-building fueled and rigorous training sessions are also well underway, with the two groups coming together last week for an outstanding 50km trek around the entire coast of Malta’s sister island, Gozo over just two days.

Our training sessions not only prepare us for the physical challenge of climbing mountains, but also serve as a way to strengthen the bonds within our groups. These experiences allow individuals to forge true synergies and friendships, aligning with the ultimate goal of the SiGMA Group – building lasting connections, whether it be for business growth, or, in the case of the SiGMA Foundation – lasting friendships and unforgettable memories to cherish.

As the SiGMA Foundation continues its mission of impactful giving, we eagerly anticipate two upcoming project inaugurations. In June, we are proud to announce the inauguration of a music hall in the Philippines, perfectly aligned with the SiGMA Asia Summit. This versatile space will nurture musical talents and foster creativity within the community. Then, in October, our focus shifts to Bonga, Ethiopia, where we will inaugurate a women empowerment project. This initiative aims to empower women through education and skill development, fostering economic independence and social empowerment within the community. Stay tuned for more updates on these transformative projects as we continue to make a positive impact in communities worldwide.
