The Malta Gaming Authority has advised licensees that further guidelines will be available on the upcoming risk evaluation questionnaire (REQ) for 2023.

Interested parties are required to submit completion of the assessment by the deadline of 1 March 2023.  The risk assessment questionnaire on compliance and supervision will be rolled out by the Financial Intelligence Analysis Unit (FIAU).

Interested parties will be able to access the questionnaire in time to prepare the information for submission for the due date.  Detailed guidelines will be available to interested parties to support the completion of the questionnaires.

The Malta Gaming Authority is requesting advising gaming operators to observe the deadline.  Submissions after the due day may result in incurring an administrative penalty issued by the FIAU.

Interested parties can access the page to visit the questionnaire via FIAU’s website.
